Vibration-induced discomfort in automated driving: OWHEEL case study
Résumé
The paper aims to present the procedure of vibration-induced discomfort analysis in automated driving. In this regard, the presented research focuses on the key components related to driving comfort in automated driving, such as evaluation criteria, corresponding scenarios and the necessary equipment to perform the driving comfort analysis. Finally, as a case study, the ongoing European Commission project OWHEEL is presented, providing an example of the testing procedure of automotive wheel corner concepts to design new vehicle architecture, ensuring optimal comfort by automated driving.
